Married Harriet Ann Benge (ID 129) on 13 July 1856 in Woolwich, Greenwich. Children: William Gurr (1857–1932, PID 9N3Y-QM5), Harriet Gurr (1859–1889, PID LB44-YCB), Elizabeth Edith Gurr (1861–1901, PID M9RH-BHJ). Thomas died age ~29, leaving three young children who were orphaned after their mother also died in 1871. Per 1871 census, the children were living in the household of William Benge (their maternal grandfather). PARENTS: William Eldridge Gurr (1810–1882, PID LZXL-L8Z) and Sarah Russell (1817–1869, PID LZXL-PB7). Note on FamilySearch: Thomas is listed as a 'Step' child of Sarah Russell — his biological mother may differ. Thomas was born ~1 year before William and Sarah Gurr's marriage on 18 May 1840, Northiam — suggesting his mother may have been a prior or unmarried partner of William Eldridge Gurr.
