NOTE — Birth year conflict: FindAGrave header gives 28 Nov 1808; Mattawamkeag Cemetery headstone transcript gives 'Nov 28 1809'. FindAGrave birth year (1808) preferred as it is independently supported by the memorial bio. NOTE — Death year conflict: Headstone transcript gives 'Apr 28 1897'; FindAGrave and the 1892 obituary newspaper clipping both give 28 Apr 1892. The headstone was likely inscribed with a carving error. Using 1892-04-28.
